Springdoo is a means of communicating with friends and family using video and/or audio. You say, 'This is nothing new.' Well, in a way that's true. It is different, though. For one thing it's FREE. They may charge for it some day but I think the intent is to make it ad supported. The best feature is no attachments. Your video and audio is stored on Springdoo's server and persons you send to just get a link to your message. It can be accessed an unlimited number of times until 30 days have passed and then it's deleted. The URL is http://www.springdoo.com so give it a try. You don't have to have a web camera to use it but you do need a mike. A person receiving your message needs nothing except Flash player installed and 98% of all computers do.

I signed up for Writely. So what is Writely? Well, its an on line word processor and it must be good because it belongs to Google. I'll see how it goes.
